Doerte Weig is a social anthropologist with an interest in uncovering the different facets of mobility and migration, and how the physicality of movement relates to social-political change and urban transformation. She is a specialist on the nexus of bodies and mobilities, and her "Remember Your Body Podcast" was a source of inspiration for the TrUST podcast! There, Doerte Weig talks about how our bodies can be related in a broader way to the fields of anatomy, economics, environment, architecture, mobility, and systems thinking. INTREPID NETWORK
INTREPID is the network of scholars and practitioners from 32 countries, funded by the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST), that has been celebrating the constant inspiration since its final conference: 'INTREPID Knowledge', in Lisbon, where it all began in May 2015. DIST
DIST is the Interuniversity Department of Regional and Urban Studies and Planning of Politecnico di Torino and Università di Torino. The TrUST project received funding within the "innovative teaching" call of the "excellence" project. Indeed, the DIST department has been recognized as one of the 180 excellence departments of the Italian university system and thus granted special funding for the 2018-2022 period (MIUR). The resulting Excellence Project aims at maximizing the department capacity to answer to the UN Agenda 2030 challenges ("Transforming our world: the 2030 agenda for sustainable development", 2015) and, in specific, to contribute to reach the objectives of the Sustainable Development Goal 11: "Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable".
